The Adventure
The schooner Frank Edmund was launched May 2, 2005 (articles) & has completed her shake-down cruise and sea trials. She will begin her 1st season in June 2006, sailing along the coast of Southern California from San Diego to the Channel Islands.

Sail - Relax - Vacation….and let the adventurer in you have some fun! Why dream about sailing among the beautiful Channel Islands and snorking in the languid waters off Catalina Island? Here is an adventurous, affordable way to make it possible!

Leland and Cecily Parsons are looking for 13 groups of up to 6 people each to share in a limited ownership arrangement. As one of the owners, you are guaranteed 7 days aboard. You chose the course and destination for your 7 day sailing vacation. Included are room and board, three meals a day, and complete use of the vessel. Leland and Cecily are always on board to fill in the voids should you and your group wish to skipper and crew the boat.

And, if space is available (and you can get away!), you can spend additional time aboard accompanying the Frank Edmund as she sails across the oceans of the globe to her next destination.

The Frank Edmund is an exquisite sailing vessel, complete with teak throughout, ash inlays, brass fixtures, ample portholes and skylights, washer/dryer, and water maker.
A larger dayroom contains a propane fireplace, and plenty of open floor space for dancing and active games. The fully equipped galley has a standard-size refrigerator, freezer, garbage disposal, trash compactor, and gas stove and oven. The dining room boasts an elegant gimbaled, teak, rosewood and walnut dining table that seats eight. There are two private heads with showers. The Frank Edmund is outfitted with state-of the-art features and many extra safety measures.
